Presents: Somewhere in the gray area, between country and blues, Augé Hays has made his way home. Influenced at an early age by a variety of blues and folk musicians, Augé grew to love playing harmonica and slide guitar. This has proved to be the foundation for his music. Augé's passion for music has taken him into many styles but when it comes down to just playing a tune, he is quick to settle back into the style that is his own. This is evident in Spare Me the Signs. Each of the songs are short stories about life's ups and downs, played with a predominant acoustic sound. The soulful drawl of Augé's voice and the sparse instrumentation work together to touch emotions and imaginations. Augé believes in "telling the stories and letting you paint the picture". MP3 is higher quality but longer download time. *Note: The RealAudio versions of sound/video clips require the RealPlayer plug-in from Progressive Networks. Click here to get a free copy. |
